It’s a relaxed work fit with room to move. The Jillaroo is shaped in slightly at the sides for a more feminine fit, so it’s not boxy. Both shirts are cut with extra length, so they stay tucked into your jeans when you reach, bend or climb, and you’re not stopping to tuck them back in all day.

If you’re between sizes, go up for a looser, roomier fit or down for a slimmer fit. Lisa, our founder, wears a Medium for a relaxed fit, but a Small fits her slimmer. Check the size guide on each product page for exact chest and waist measurements.

Both. It’s made to be worn on its own through the hot, humid months, but it’s a year-round shirt too. When it cools down, throw a jumper, vest or jacket over the top, or layer it over a singlet or tee. Roll the sleeves up when it’s hot and down when you need cover from the sun or the cold.

Not at all. It’s a lightweight, breathable cotton blend made from moisture-wicking fabric, which pulls sweat off your skin to the outside of the shirt, where it dries. The vented back yoke and perforated side panels keep the air moving, so even after a long, sweaty day it won’t cling to you or weigh you down. It feels just as light at knock-off as it did at first light.

Yes. The back pleats give you extra room across the shoulders, so you can reach, lift, bend and climb fences without the shirt pulling tight. The extra length keeps it tucked into your jeans while you work, so you’re not stopping to tuck it back in. Every seam is double-stitched, so it holds up to a full day in the yards, on the boat or out in the paddock.

Machine wash cold with like colours and skip the bleach. Hang it on the line and it dries without creases, so there’s no ironing needed. Pull it off the line and it’s ready to wear. Dust, mud and sweat wash straight out, so it’s good to go again after a big day.
